What is VI Peel?

Naturally over time, facial skin begins to appear less supple, fine lines, wrinkles, sunspots and age spots become more visible. With the VI peel, you can dramatically rejuvenate your skin, without a long recovery time. The formula is a blend of acids, retinol, vitamins and minerals that work magic deep in the skin, peeling away imperfections to reveal youthful, clear and glowing skin. It is both effective and gentle, while the treatment takes only about 30 minutes to complete and is virtually painless.

VI Peel – The treatment for skin concerns

What does the VI Peel treatment look like?

Your peel will be performed at our private, luxury medical spa located in Burr Ridge, Illinois. As you rest comfortably, the peel formula will be applied to your skin by our licensed esthetician. You will feel a tingling sensation on your skin that is reasonably easy to tolerate. The peel formula remains on your skin for couple of hours until you remove it with specially formulated towelettes.

Your peel will be performed at our private, luxury medical spa located in Burr Ridge, Illinois. As you rest comfortably, the peel formula will be applied to your skin by our licensed esthetician. You will feel a tingling sensation on your skin that is easy to tolerate. After about 30 minutes, the treatment is complete!

What is the VI Peel recovery process like?

You can expect skin peeling for about one week afterward. It is important to not try and remove any peeling, this is part of the process which reveals rejuvenated skin. You may also notice some skin discoloration in the first few days, which will fade quickly. You can apply makeup after undergoing a VI Peel and continue your usual routine.

If you are planning to attend a special event like a wedding or vacation, make sure to plan ahead. Schedule your VI Peel a few weeks or month prior to the occasion so the peeling is over, and your skin looks fresh, glowing, evenly toned, and youthful.

Ideal results with a series of VI Peel treatments

Like most treatments, the benefits of a VI Peel are increased with a series of treatments. MedAndSpa recommends three or four peel sessions, about a month apart for ideal results.
