How does Kybella work?
Deoxycholic acid, the active ingredient in Kybella, is a naturally occurring Deoxycholic acid, the active ingredient in Kybella, is a naturally occurring molecule in the body that helps in the breakdown and absorption of dietary fat. Once the submental fullness is injected, fat cells are destroyed and are unable to store or accumulate fat. Essentially, Kybella results are permanent, but maintenance overtime may be needed.

How Many Kybella Treatments Are Needed?
A certified MedAndSpa nurse will guide you through the KYBELLA treatment and provide professional advice. The number of Kybella injections each patient needs will vary because everyone’s chin and result goals are different. Typically, 2-3 treatments are required, depending on the amount of fat in the area.
How Long Before I See Results?
Results from Kybella injections are typically gradual. Targeted fat cells are usually removed from the area within four to six weeks after receiving injections, at which point patients start to see a noticeable difference to the appearance of their profile.
